The Mean Green Mask


The skin softening effects of avocado have been known for centuries. This is an easy, inexpensive mask you can make which combines benefits of two of nature's best kept skin secrets. Mash the avocado and honey together immediately before use as this mask does not do well with storage.

Ingredients
1 large ripe organic avocado, peeled and sliced
1 1/2 tablespoons organic honey

Direction:
Apply to a clean face (away from eyes), allowing it to sit for 20 minutes. Rinse with warm water.

Glowing Face Mask


  • 1 tablespoon of milk powder

  • 1 teaspoon of turmeric (paste)



  • Mix the ingredients and leave on the face for 15 minutes, until the skin feels dry and tight. Using cold water, rinse it off. This mask can be used every day.

    Cream Cheese and Carrot Face Mask for Normal Skin


    Ingredients:
    1 medium size carrot
    2 tablespoons of cream cheese

    Preparation
    1) Mash a carrot
    2) Use 2 tablespoons of it
    3) Mix with a tablespoon of cream cheese
    4) Apply to face and neck
    5) After 15 min rinse the face off water.

    Carrot-Honey Facial Mask for Normal Skin


    Ingredients:
    2-3 large carrots
    4 1/2 tablespoons honey

    Preparation:
    1) Cook carrots, then mash.
    2) Mix with honey.
    3) Apply gently to the skin and wait 10 minutes.
    4) Rinse off with cool water.

    Chocolate face mask recipe

    Ingredients
    • 1/3 cup cocoa
    • 1/4 cup of honey
    • 2 tablespoons of heavy cream (sour cream will work as well)
    • 3 teaspoons of oatmeal powder
    Preparation
    Mix all the ingredient until the mass in consistent. Apply on the face, gently massaging it so that oatmeal can start exfoliating the dead skin cell layer. Leave it on for about 20 minutes and rinse off with lukewarm water.

    In case you are wondering, there is a reason oatmeal and honey are added to this mix. Similar to its use in body scrub recipes, oatmeal it is recommended for sensitive skin, but can be used in preparation of facial masks for any skin type, as well as for preparation of facial exfoliants as it is gentle on the skin, yet highly powerful.
