Homemade Natural Body Scrub

Body Scrub Recipe
2 Tablespoons Fine Ground Sea Salt or White Sugar or Cornmeal
4 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil (Olive Oil, Sunflower Oil, Safflower Oil, Castor Oil, Unhydrogenated Vegetable Shortening, Single Oil Or Blend Of Oils)

Instructions To Make Body Scrub
Blend small amounts of the oil into the scrub ingredient until you have a wet sand texture. When it is like wet sand, it is ready to use.

Instructions For Using The Body Scrub

If you just want a skin treatment to exfoliate, soften and oistuize the skin, lay newspaper in a big square beside the shower. Take a shower and do your usual routine. Step out of the shower and pat yourself dry. Pin hair out of the way. Use the scrub then take a shower. Rinse off the residue of the body scrub and pat dry. You can also apply the body scrub in the shower without leaving the shower area.
The benefits to leaving the shower to apply the body scrub are that you can make sure that the scrub does not go down the drain before you get a chance to use it, you can cover all the areas of your body that are reasonably within your reach and you can let the mixture sit on your skin for a few minutes for a longer conditioning period.
If you want to apply the body scrub dry, lay out the newspaper beside your shower. Use the body scrub and then take a shower. Make sure that you lay the newspaper in a large enough radius on the floor around you because the scrub formula will get flicked around pretty far as you use it.
